Arachnid Target Back Assembly

Arachnid Target Back Assembly

  • Start by collecting all parts and tools needed
  • With target back on your bench take 4 pound in T-nuts(B083210T) and insert into holes A-D
  • Using the drill with allen driver screw in 3 hex drive inserts into holes 1-3 making sure to stop just below the surface. Sand face if necessary
  • Align a ½” 6 hole rail with the edge and apply a small bead of glue to the back of the rail. Too much glue and it will ooze out and powder will not stick.
  • Align holes and secure with 1” brad nails
  • Spin the target back 180°
  • Align a ⅝” 4 hole rail and apply a small bead of glue
  • Align holes and secure with 1” brad nails making sure to not nail through the slot in rail marked in RED.
  • Align ½” black rail between the rails already secured. Apply a small bead of glue and secure with 1” brad nails.
  • Repeat these steps on 10-20 target backs
  • Once glue is dry repeat these steps on the back face but use 1 ¼” brad nails to tie everything together.
  • Use an orbital sander on the 3 built up edges to make sure all the rails are smooth and ready for powdercoat.
