National Lab

National Lab Tops

  • When starting a National Lab cutlist review the sizes and make a plan for which stock sizes will be used to maximize yield.
    • Example of this would be if you have 4-24”x60” tops to cut you should use a 4’x10’ sheet instead of 2-4’x8’ sheets
  • When loading panels into the saw use the router to trim the excess laminate to give you a straight edge. Make sure not to slide the panels against each other to avoid scratching.
  • Make sure to turn on the scoring blade while cutting.
  • Subtract banding thickness from overall dimension.
  • Cut panels go on a flat rolling cart. Use vertical panel carts for larger pieces.B

Banding

  • Set up the bander by opening the program 1-187_2MM_PVC. Load 2MM black banding.
  • Start by banding the short ends followed by long edges. All edges get straight cuts.

Cleaning

  • When cleaning start by filing all 4 corners to break the edge.
  • Wipe down with cleaner until clean then flip and repeat.
  • Depending on dimension either place on a pallet or on a vertical panel cart making sure to place cardboard between all pieces.
